One of best performance of a lifetime from Alia Bhatt, She easily made it look so natural with her appearance. Gangubai is definitely an experience the life journey of a little girl from kathiawadi who dreamt to become an actress turned out be prostitute of Kammathipura. 


Once she aware of the fact that there is no escape from this world, she determined to dedicate her life to the 4000 other girl of Kammathipura. Fighted hard for their rights and justice. Film is really interesting in every point, we can actually feel very empathetic towards all the character's the emotional side is also really beautifully narrated. 

No unwanted dragging, the duration is also perfect. The Cameo of ajay devgan is appreciatable, even though his space is too short but still he makes so energetic scenarios with his solid performance. Alia bhatt is the soul, the amount of emotions she delivers was excellent as an actor. The film left you in totally different mood in the end.
